If you are a member of
the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, you may be able to gain the same exemptions
as CIPS members. That means you need attend only
2 weekend modules*
Please note the
university is currently considering the possibility of awarding the MSc with
a Logistics reference in the award title but currently you would be awarded
either the MSc in
Management or the MSc in Procurement depending on your
preference, your professional qualifications and your dissertation subject
choice.
The total package price
including accommodation works out at £6619 (sterling) and that includes VAT at the
UK rate of 20% (This doesn't include cost of any flights).
Many people will be able to claim the VAT back if
their companies are paying for their training
Compare that price
with most other masters programmes.
We think you'll find it is less than half.
* The full
University of Glamorgan on-campus programme consists of 8 taught modules
plus a supervised dissertation. As a CILT member you may be
exempt from 6 modules but you would have to complete the dissertation
after the 2 taught modules. The dissertation can be completed at
home and is fully tutor supported through MDC's own Webucate
on-line student support system. This off-campus executive style
programme is run by the same university of Glamorgan tutors who conduct
the weekends and provide on line support through WebucateThe programme is held at Moor Hall Conference Centre, Cookham near
Maidenhead.
Moor Hall is the
perfect location for conferences as it is conveniently located within easy
reach of international airports, major road and motorway networks and main
route rail stations. It also offers excellent training facilities and
comfortable
surroundings for a weekend away. |
